Hyperdilute Radiesse:
Radiesse is considered a biostimulating, collagen producing filler. It is used to provide volume strategically to areas of the face such as the cheeks, jawline and chin. This filler is FDA approved for multiple lower face treatments. It provides immediate results as well as long term improvement by stimulating collagen and elastin. This filler is unique because it provides volume replacement and collagen bio-stimulation. It remains in the body for 9-12 months before it is broken down. But through that process, new tissue formation occurs through neo-collagenesis, elastin production and cell proliferation. The result is improvement in structure for greater than 18 months.
When used in the hyperdilute form, it works to improve the deep collagen structure of the skin, by triggering the skin to form its own collagan types I and III. This treatment is primarily used to treat loose skin, smile lines, cheek hollows and neck lines. Results are best achieved over a series of 2-3 treatments.
Areas that can be treated with hyperdilute Radiesse:
Lower face: Cheek and smile lines
The neck: Tech neck lines and loose skin
The chest: Sleeping lines and crepiness, the
The upper arms: Skin laxity and thin skin of the upper, inner arm
The buttocks: Volume and cellulite
Sculptra:
An injectable indicated for use in people with healthy immune systems for the corrections of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles. Sculptra gradually stimulates collagen production to deliver natural looking results. Sculptra will work over a series of 2-3 treatments with lasting results for up to 2 years. This is the only FDA approved PLLA collagen stimulator. Sculptra is considered a safe and effective treatment.
PRP injection/topical application:
Platelet-rich plasma is a platelet concentrated component from your own blood that contains nutrient rich cells, stem cells, and protein growth factors. Platelets are made in bone marrow. The main purpose of plasma is to transport nutrients, hormones, and proteins to areas of the skin that need it.
Platelet-rich plasma is produced with a small amount of the patient’s blood drawn by the provider and placed into a sterile tube. The blood is spun in a special machine that separates the PRP from the red blood cells. The PRP can then be drawn up and utilized in several different avenues.
Here at Revitalize Medical Spa, we apply PRP topically after our skin resurfacing treatments whether it be RF microneedling, CO2 laser or SkinPen to stimulate more collagen and to speed up recovery time. It will also provide enhanced results from any of the above mentioned resurfacing treatments.
Injectable PRP is another menu item Revitalize offers. Injecting PRP into the tear trough area (the hollow area under the eyes), will increase elastin and collagen production to improve overall integrity of the skin under eyes and provide a youthful glow. Also helps with fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and crepiness. We offer PRP alone, or bundled with filler for tear troughs.
PRP injections are also in high demand for hair restoration. Growth factors in PRP increase the number and quality of hair over time. See our Hair Restoration bundle options under ‘peptides’ for more information.
