Botox Instructions

Botox: 

Contraindications

• Pregnancy / Breastfeeding
• Dermatoses in the treatment area (ex. Eczema, psoriasis.)
• Gross motor weakness in the treatment area
• Immunocompromised
• Infection in the treatment area
• Keloid scarring
• Neuromuscular disorder
• Sensitivities or allergies to the product

Pre-Treatment instructions

• Stop anti-inflammatories, aspirin and herbal supplements 5 days before to reduce the risk of bruising

Post-Treatment instructions

• Swelling will go down in approx. 10-15 minutes
• Avoid aggressive impact activity for 24 hours
• Do not rub or scrub the area night of treatment
• May apply ice and anti-inflammatories for soreness
•  May apply arnica for bruising
• Botox will take 7-10 days to take effect
• Botox will last 90 days on average
• No touch ups will be performed for minimum of 14 days
