Contraindications:

• Pregnancy/Nursing
• Active infections in treatment area
• Skin cancer/Precancerous lesions in treatment area
• Active cold sores or open lacerations
• Tattoo in treatment area
• Abnormal moles/skin conditions
• Present rash
• Sunburn
• Compromised immune system
• History of keloids

Pre-treatment:

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds or tanning foams/lotions for 2 weeks leading up to treatment
• Avoid medications that cause skin/light sensitivity
• Stop all Retinoid treatments for 7 days leading up to treatment
• Avoid all anticoagulants for 7 days leading up to treatment ie Aspirin, anti-inflammatories
• Suspend Accutane for 4-6 months
• Start skin lightening products for darker skin types
• Prophylactic treatment for cold sores 7 days prior to treatment
