Contraindications

• Pregnancy / Breastfeeding
• No active fever blisters
• Any active infection

Pre-Treatment instructions

• Avoid dental cleanings 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after filler appointment
• Avoid flu shot 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after appointment
• May apply arnica topically 2 times a day to treatment area to reduce risk of bruising
• Stop any anti-inflammatories, aspirin, and herbal substances 7 days before

Post-Treatment instructions

• Apply arnica to treatment area 3 times a day
• Do not manipulate the skin of the treatment area
• May use ice and resume anti-inflammatories for soreness
• Notify our office if any changes to the skin including; blanching, ulceration, or excessive swelling
• Expect swelling for 2-3 days post procedure
• No lipstick for 12 hours
• Filler is hydrophilic so drink lots of water
