Contraindications

• Abnormal Pap smear in the last 12 months
• Previous history of cervical cancer
• Previous bladder sling surgery
• Any metal implants from previous surgery
• Pacemaker
• Pregnant or nursing
• Currently menstruating
• Active herpes lesion

Pre-treatment instructions

• Please shave the vaginal area 24 hours before your appointment if having external treatment
• Avoid applying any lotions or creams to vaginal area
• Let your provider know if you require Valtrex as pre-treatment
• Apply numbing cream to external vaginal area one hour before appointment time if having Fractora V

Post-treatment instructions

• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours
• Avoid intercourse or mechanical devices for 48 hours 
• May resume normal gym activities immediately 
• Most patients will experience a clinical endpoint of erythema (redness) for 1-3 days. Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and a moderate sunburn sensation may last longer. Skin may peel slightly
